This year, 2020, has been such a terrible year all around especially in Toronto. The impact has been felt not only in Ontario but throughout Canada and the world. Infections are soaring in South Africa too while strict measures and lockdowns are in place in most parts of the world.

A silver lining has appeared with the UK citizens getting vaccinated on December 8th. Margaret Keenan age 90 was the first in the world to get vaccinated in Britain. Canada is the third country to get the Pfizer Biotech vaccine and the first batch arrived on December 13th. Gisele Levesque, the 89-year-old in Quebec City was the first Canadian to get the vaccine and the first person in Ontario was Anita Quidangen, a personal support worker in Toronto. All making headline news. December 14, 2020, was the first roll-out of the vaccinations in Canada. Three million Canadians will be vaccinated by April 2021 and the rest of the population by Fall 2021. So we are on the road to beat COVID-19.

Unfortunately due to the pandemic, no events are planned for 2021. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best as we close off a very unexpected year. Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and a much better and brighter 2021!

As always, be safe and take care!
